circular magnetic chuck / self-centering / for grinding

The SCHUNK ROTA NCM integrates both a centering chuck and round magnetic clamping plate into one single unit. This unit is used with pneumatically actuated grinding and turning machines, and increases set up times by up to 80 percent. These clamps can be easily used for large surface clamping, and does not damage or distort the shape of the pieces. The unit is equipped with retractable jaws which allows parts to be machined on up to three sides at a time without any vibration or distortion. This unique feature promotes increased productivity, reduced set up costs, decreased down times, and stricter tolerances.
